My eye is almost always drawn to art–especially modern art–that is bright and colorful. I think my own meager efforts remain in many shades of grey because I fear color, which has more potential for disastrous juxtapositions than a simple graphite or gray charcoal. I hope someday to get past this fear, though, and to conquer color. I’d like to be able to show you some of my own bright creations on this blog, if I should succeed someday.
